From the P.S. Arts site:

Mission

P.S. ARTS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to restoring arts education to public schools by providing comprehensive, skills based, sequential classes in dance, drama, music and visual arts to children attending Title I schools. Our curriculum is aligned with California's Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards. Now in its 13th year, P.S. ARTS provides access to the arts through in-school programs to thousands of children in some of the most under-served neighborhoods in California.

Recognized by local, county and state agencies as an outstanding arts provider, P.S. ARTS serves as a national model advocating arts for all students. ARTS education can address the demands of the knowledge economy in programs centered on lifelong learning and links between school success and success beyond school.

In addition, our organization is active in the educational community, offering arts-related workshops for classroom teachers. Our workshops are designed to inspire and instruct teachers how to integrate creative expression and the arts into the core curriculum.
