LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 /U.S. Newswire/ - Cure Autism Now (CAN), the foundation
dedicated to finding the causes, effective treatments and a cure for autism,
will hold its 3rd annual "Acts of Love" fundraising event on Monday,
Nov. 8 at the Coronet Theatre in Los Angeles. The event will feature a performance
of "Hearts Aflame: An Evening of Love and Hate Letters, 18th Century Missives
to 21st Century E-mails" by actress/comedian Lily Tomlin and cast members,
past and present, of the hit NBC/Warner Bros. TV drama series The West Wing.
Tomlin will host and John Amos, Rocky Carroll, Stockard Channing, Gary Cole,
Marlee Matlin, Janel Moloney, Elisabeth Moss, Nicole Robinson, Richard Schiff,
John Spencer and Bradley Whitford are scheduled to perform.
The readings will be based on three books: Hell Hath No Fury; The Fifty Greatest
Love Letters of All Time and A Love No Less. The performance is scheduled from
8:30 to 10 p.m. at the Coronet, 366 N. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, with
a pre-show dinner and after party at Lucques Restaurant, 8474 Melrose Avenue,
Los Angeles.
