Sunday April 25th 2004.
Hundreds of celebrities and over a million
pro-choice supporters attended the March for Women's
Lives in Washington D.C.
Bradley intended to join the March but was unable to attend due
to Jane undergoing surgery. Even though Brad was unavoidably
detained on the day, coverage still remains here
since he is mentioned in much of the publicity
and clearly supported the event.
From the March for Women's Lives site:
The time is right for a
public demonstration of historic size in support
of reproductive freedom and justice for all women.
Threats to these rights have never been so systematic
and coordinated, and the lives and health of women
have never faced such peril.
